Privacy policy

Kozone ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you use our website and service at kozone.app (the "Service").

Information we collect

  • Account data: such as your email address, display name, and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in (including when you use Google or other providers we support).
  • Content you provide: workspace and project data, tasks, text, files, diagrams, documents, and other materials you create or upload in the Service.
  • Technical data: such as IP address, device and browser type, and cookies or similar technologies needed to run sessions and keep the Service secure.
  • Billing-related data: plan, subscription status, and payment references processed by our payment partner (Midtrans). Card and payment credentials are handled by Midtrans; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
  • Authenticate users, enforce security, and prevent abuse;
  • Process subscriptions and communicate about billing where needed;
  • Respond to support requests and legal obligations.

Sharing and processors

We share data with trusted service providers who help us run the Service, for example hosting, authentication, database, email, and payments. They may process data only as instructed by us and for the purposes described here. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our users and the Service.

Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal and operational constraints; some records may be retained where the law requires.

Your choices

You can access or update certain profile information in the product. You may contact us to ask about access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data tied to your account, where applicable.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required in your region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from those children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and adjust the "Last updated" date when we do.

Terms of use

Kozone is a web application for documentation, tasks, and boards. By registering or using the service, you agree to the following:

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.
  • You retain responsibility for content you add; you must not use the service unlawfully or in a way that infringes third-party rights.
  • We may update features, limits, or plans over time. Material changes will be communicated where reasonable, via the product or email.
  • Paid plan prices are shown in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Payment is processed through Midtrans; you select the plan and billing period before completing checkout.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for abuse of the service or breach of these terms.

Refunds

Fees for subscription periods that have already been paid and activated are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law in Indonesia.

If you believe a charge was duplicated or issued in error, contact us with supporting transaction information. We will review the case and work with you on a fair resolution where appropriate.

End-to-end flow (order to payment & fulfillment)

Summary for payment partners: Customers purchase a software subscription (not a physical product). There is no physical shipment; feature access is granted digitally after a successful payment.

Product / service: Kozone is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) workspace product. Paid plans (Pro, Team) are digital subscriptions billed in IDR. There are no physical goods and no shipping.

  1. Discovery & account: The customer visits the Kozone website, creates an account, and signs in.
  2. Plan selection: In Settings → Billing & plan, the customer selects Pro or Team and chooses monthly or yearly billing. The price in IDR is shown before checkout.
  3. Order creation: The app creates a payment order in Kozone’s system and opens Midtrans Snap (hosted payment page) with the agreed amount and order reference.
  4. Payment: The customer completes payment on Midtrans using the methods available in Snap (e.g. card, bank transfer, e-wallet, QRIS). Midtrans processes the transaction.
  5. Confirmation: When Midtrans reports a successful payment, Kozone verifies the transaction and marks the order paid. The customer may also see confirmation in the app after Snap finishes.
  6. Fulfillment: The customer’s subscription is activated (plan limits apply to their account and owned workspaces). This is immediate digital delivery—no logistics.

Failed, cancelled, or expired payments do not activate a subscription; the customer can start checkout again from Billing & plan.

Purchasing a paid plan

Short summary of the same flow:

  1. Create a Kozone account and sign in.
  2. Open Billing & plan in your account settings, choose Pro or Team, and select monthly or yearly billing.
  3. Confirm the amount in IDR, then complete payment on the secure Midtrans checkout (Snap), using any payment method offered there (for example card, e-wallet, bank transfer, or QRIS).
  4. After payment is confirmed, your subscription is updated and the plan limits apply to your account.

You do not need to send payment receipts unless you are reporting a billing issue and we ask for them.
